OUR APPROACH

Facilitating

More and more organisations have a preference for learning to be 'learner led'. We wholeheartedly support this. Learning happens through interaction, sharing and challenge,it does not happen by simply listening to an 'expert' on a subject. Expertise is important, for sure. However, learning is not a process of acquiring expertise only. It is also a process of developing judgement - how to use expertise in practice. This judgement can only be learned through relationships with others.

We encourage clients to mix things up: bring different seniorities together; bring new graduates into the same room as experienced managers; bring different cultures together. The range of exchange across diverse groups is hugely more effective in helping people to learn and do than it is across single seniority or functional or geographic groups. Organisations these days are virtual, diverse and ideas based. Great facilitators bring diversity, ideas and context together and help them gel into results.

Our people are facilitation experts, not subject matter gurus. We can tell your people how it is, but we prefer to bring their own ideas, experience and perspectives together, add some flavour of our own and create relationship based solutions that everyone can do.
